CINEMA MAKES HISTORY IN CHIDDINGFOLD

Cinema history is set to repeat itself with a special Gala Evening in Chiddingfold near Godalming later this month.

The evening on Thursday November 17th is being held to celebrate the opening of the new audio-visual equipment at the Chiddingfold Village Hall with a special screening of the clasic British movie THE YEARS BETWEEN....which was filmed in location in Chiddingfold in 1945!

The film, which is based on a story by Daphne Du Maurier stars Michael Redgrave and Valerie Hobson.

Doors will be open at 6.30pm (with an official opening by the Mayor Waverley Cllr. Richard Gates at 6.50pm).

There will be refreshments, a licensed bar an exhibition and a 1940's costume competition.

TICKETS ARE 10 GBP from the Village Post Office
