CYCLIST SERIOUSLY INJURED AFTER ROAD ACCIDENT IN GODALMING

A cyclist was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries this afternoon after being in collision with a car on the Portsmouth Road between Godalming and Milford.

Police has closed the A3100 Portsmouth Road in Milford following the collision bringing disruption to the surrounding area.

The collision, involving a silver Volkswagen Bora and a cyclist, happened shortly after 4pm today .

A cyclist was taken by air ambulance to the Royal London Hospital with suspected life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Bora was not injured in the incident.

The stretch of road between Secretts garden centre in Milford and Primrose Ridge was closed, while police and ambulances attended the scene.
