A former senior executive at a Godalming based charity has been charged with fraud.

The one time head of campaigns and communications Steve Taylor at the League Against Cruel Sports has been charged with fraud.

He was charged on Monday and bailed until his court appearance later this month, a spokeswoman for Surrey Police said.

Mr Taylor is accused one count of fraud by false representation, she added.

The 35-year-old is now due to appear before South West Surrey magistrates on 20 April.
