  Police are investigating after a Land Rover Defender was stolen from the driveway of its' owner's home at Witley, near Godalming. Thieves struck betwen last Thursday and Friday when the green 1995 model , valued at over 14,000 GBP was targeted, despite being parked between an outer wall and another car at the house in Lane End at Witley.   Police are appealing for witneses after a man was found with head injuries on Charterhouse Road, in Godalming close to the Charterhouse Arms Public House in the early hours of New Years Day.
