The English Martial Arts Academy is proud to announce a new club in Witley, Surrey. With training sessions every Sunday Lunchtime from 12.30 this club will be focussing on the art of classical pugilism as used throughout England in the C18th and C19th. Perfect for self defense and fitness training this art was the fore-runner of modern mixed martial arts (MMA) and includes both striking and grappling skills. For well over a century the world's best fighters were all English, greats like James Figg, Jack Broughton and Daniel Mendoza were all specialists in this incredible art.

The venue is the brand new Hone Gym on Combe Lane in Witley, you don't need to be a member to come along and give it a try as your first lesson is free, but you won't find a better value for money gym for miles around.
