Walking into The Crown is like walking into scene from a glossy TV drama which depicts the rose coloured image of what an English pub should be....it's what we fought for isn't it?
Situated on th epicturesque village green on this chocolate box village the pub has origins (and beams) that'date back to the 12th Century.
There's a fine array of traditional ales to greet you at the full length bar which dominates the open lounge with its' comy furniture and huge inglenook.
Staff are pleasant and obliging, whilst the food is traditional and reasonably priced.
For those who prefer slightly more intimacy, try the smaller Half Crown bar at the back!
